- Description
- A collection of letters describing Lillian Schoedler's travels in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands. There are marvellous accounts of life in the outback, visits by the flying doctor, gold mines, sheep farms, wine festivals and Christmas in Sydney. There is also an account of a wonderful reception on Yorke Island. At the end, there are biographical notes, including a complete list of places visited, 1911-1963.
