Description
Pamphlet, 'A Few Recollections of Early Life Written by Mary Seymour Welles... ', 1905, describes her childhood in New York state, her marriage to Alfred Kelley, and their moves to Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. Also included are typed transcripts of letters by Mary Seymour Bates describing her 1891 trip to Europe, Turkey and Cyprus, with notes by transcriber, 1947 and photographs of her, c. 1870, 1882.
