- This diary was written while travelling and was later copied into another volume (see ref. A170 box 15 213). The diary records Sarah Shurtleff's travels around France and England. Tourist attractions she visited include: the Champs-Elysées, the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Pantheon, the Uffington White Horse and Stonehenge. At the back of the diary is a handwritten index that later appears as a contents list in the copied volume.
